The Delivery
I was in a film challenge yesterday where teams have to make a completed film in ten hours. We found out the required elements Saturday morning and had to include them in our project. The required prop was a ball and the required theme was, "My own worst enemy." I was the head writer on the team and also an actor. The whole team worked together to come up with the idea for the movie. It's an office setting and I play a supervisor counting on my employee Kevin (Walter Jared Wright III) to deliver an important package, but he comes across some distractions along the way with the help from some quirky coworkers (Keagan Thorp and Pamela Ramirez-Martinez). Will he ever complete his assignment? Gordon Lamb was our team captain and he directed and produced the film. He and Kristaminique Mcdonald worked hard to quickly edit the film. Timothy Curry was the cinematographer and came up with some really creative shots. Dillon Latham got up early to represent us at the drawing yesterday morning, then he rushed down to the shooting location to do sound for the film. Here's the completed film. We won 2nd Place and the Captain's Choice Award. There were a lot of great films in the competition. Here's ours.
