Barbecue at KC Melting Pot

Barbecue opening this past weekend with KC Melting Pot at The Just Off Broadway Theatre. Barbecue is a very unique play by Robert O'Hara. It is about a family having an intervention for their sister, Barbara. The first scene you see is a white family, however, the next scene you see is a black family, but they have the same names and the same costumes as the black family. There is a twist to it that you will have to see for yourself. It is a dark comedy and it's not for the easily offended. I play Adlean, one of the sisters helping at the intervention.
